Store cheaper overnight electricity for the day ahead. Choose a modular battery with a separate inverter, or a DX all-in-one system with both in one unit.
Works without solar. Can also store surplus generation from compatible solar panels.
Built around your home.Solplanet Ai-LB-G3 modular battery range
Start with the energy your home uses.
You do not need to choose a model first. Our calculator suggests a battery size from your electricity bill or daily use. Then we check the inverter, tariff and installation with you.
Start with the storage you need, then choose the format and power that fit your home.
SOLPLANET / ASW
Modular battery. Separate inverter.
The blue Ai-LB-G3 battery stores the energy. A separate ASW hybrid inverter manages power between the battery, your home, the grid and compatible solar.
10–40 kWh package choices in our range.
Selected 3.68–10 kW inverter combinations.
Battery modules only 185 mm deep.
Up to five modules per tower; larger packages need an agreed layout.
From 10 to 25 kWh, the modules can form one stack. The width and depth stay the same; the stack simply gets taller as capacity increases. Each 5.12 kWh module is 630 mm wide, 320 mm high and 185 mm deep.

¹ Manufacturer usable-energy figures measured at 95% depth of discharge, 25°C and 0.5C charge/discharge. Energy delivered to appliances also depends on system losses, settings and operating conditions. ² Module totals exclude the 2.6 kg base and separate inverter. Product dimensions exclude installation clearances.
25 kWh: the largest single stack.
The five-module arrangement is the largest single tower documented for this range: 25.6 kWh nominal capacity, sold as our 25 kWh package. For larger capacities, explore the suggested two-stack layouts below.
Why the calculator uses 90%.
Our calculator uses rounded package capacities and a stated 90% usable-capacity assumption. For example, the 10 kWh package is modelled as 9 kWh per day. The manufacturer’s laboratory figures above describe the hardware; they do not replace the calculator’s assumptions.

Operating temperatures
Charging: −8 to 58°C · discharging: −18 to 58°C
Cooling / communication
Natural convection · CAN communication
Battery round-trip efficiency
≥95% (battery figure, not complete AC system efficiency)
Cycle-life test
6,000 cycles at 0.5C, 25°C, one cycle/day, 90% depth of discharge and 70% end-of-life capacity
Built-in protections
Battery management system, integrated fire suppression, MOSFET and dual fuse protection
Safety features reduce risk; correct installation and operation remain essential. Cycle-life testing is not a guaranteed service life or a warranty. Maximum power also depends on the inverter and installed battery configuration.
MORE FLEXIBILITY AT HOME
More storage. Two shorter stacks.
A larger system can be planned around two smaller stacks. This gives you another layout to consider where height is limited or one tall unit would be less practical.
30 kWh PACKAGE
2 × 15 kWh stacks.
Two three-module stacks, each approximately:
630 mm wide
960 mm high
185 mm deep
40 kWh PACKAGE
2 × 20 kWh stacks.
Two four-module stacks, each approximately:
630 mm wide
1,280 mm high
185 mm deep
Suggested layouts, confirmed at survey. These are the dimensions of each stack, not the total installation space. The final positions, compatible equipment and approved interconnections must be confirmed, with room for mounting, cabling, access, required clearances and the separate inverter. Two stacks do not necessarily take up less total floor or wall space.
Our 35 kWh package also remains in the standard range; its arrangement and dimensions are confirmed individually. Package capacities are rounded names; the exact nominal totals for the suggested 30 and 40 kWh arrangements are 30.72 and 40.96 kWh respectively.
A built-in inverter and battery in a slim, integrated format, with app monitoring and compatible solar inputs.
The figures below apply to the current 5 kW models in the newer DX datasheet. Earlier brochures also show 3.6 kW variants. Your written quote will identify the exact model being supplied.

LIVING WITH YOUR BATTERY
Designed for everyday life.
Understand how the battery fits into your home before you choose it.
01
Know your energy.
Monitor charge, discharge and stored energy through your system’s app. Solplanet systems use the Solplanet App; we’ll explain the connection and controls supplied with your chosen DX system.
Battery and inverter dimensions are only part of the picture. Access, mounting, cable routes, operating temperatures and required clearances all form part of your survey.
Our battery systems are offered with a 10-year product warranty, subject to the terms for the exact equipment supplied. We’ll provide the applicable cover and exclusions with your proposal. The optional EV charger has separate cover.
